
Addis Ababa, February 26, 2025 (FMC) – A business forum promoting Ethiopia’s potential investment opportunities to investors was held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, attended by over 200 business owners.
At the event, Ethiopia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (RoK), Dessie Dalkie, presented exiting investment prospects in his country, asserting that Ethiopia boasts one of the best investment opportunities and incentives in Africa.
The participants were also further briefed on the policy reforms made by the Ethiopian government to create a favorable investment environment in the country, foreign direct investment incentives, and favorable business environment.
During the course of his remarks, Ambassador Dessie called on Korean investors to engage in various investment sectors in the East African country.
The participants of the forum said that the forum helped them understand that Ethiopia is a country with favorable investment opportunities.
The Korean investors who attended the forum revealed that they are interested in conducting a pre-investment visit to explore investment opportunities in Ethiopia, according to information from the Ethiopian Embassy in Seoul.
