Alhaji Abdul-Samad Rabiu, Chairman of the BUA Group, has affirmed that the company will uphold its commitment to selling cement at the price of N3,500 starting January 2024.
He made this known during a conversation with State House Correspondents following a visit to President Bola Tinubu in Lagos.
Earlier in September, BUA Cement Plc announced a price reduction for cement, slashing it from N5,500 to N3,500 per bag, with the new rate scheduled to take effect from October 2nd, 2023.
However, the specified date elapsed, raising concerns about the feasibility of the plan.
